The Role of ADT Across the Continuum of Prostate Cancer

By participating in this program, health care providers can expect to:

  • describe the hormonal therapy continuum for prostate cancer, including the role of androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) as the backbone of therapy
  • explain the rationale for earlier treatment with hormonal therapies in patients with high-risk prostate cancer
  • discuss strategies to minimize the potential cardiovascular (CV) side effects of ADT
  • review recent advances in the treatment of advanced prostate canced
