TRIAGING UROLOGIC ONCOLOGY SURGERY
BLADDER CANCER SURGERY
• LOW RISK T1, CIS – Radical Cystectomy can be delayed 3
months
• HIGH RISK, including neoadjuvant chemotherapy –
Radical Cystectomy should not be delayed beyond 1-2
months
• LOW GRADE Bladder Tumors – TURBT can be delayed 3-6
months
• HIGH GRADE Bladder Tumors – TURBT should not be
delayed beyond 1-2 months
