4. Germ cell tumours (GCTs)

Scenario: Treatment for IGCCCG good-risk disseminated GCT

• Recommendation for BEP x 3

• unless contraindication to bleomycin, since manageable short- /

long-term toxicities compared to EP x 4

• Need for PFTs should be judiciously assessed → higher risk of

infection transmission

• In good-risk patients with a concurrent COVID-19 diagnosis:

consider safely delaying chemotherapy initiation for viral

clearance

• If treatment cannot be delayed: BEP x 3, EP x 4 and VIP x 3 are

reasonable
