Contraindications to Treatment

• Absolute Contraindications:

• Breast cancer or metastatic prostate cancer

• Hematocrit >54%

• Relative Contraindications:

• Severe lower urinary tract symptoms (AUA/IPSS score >19)

• Prostate nodule

• Baseline PSA suggesting risk of prostate cancer

• Uncontrolled congestive heart failure

• Myocardial infarction, acute coronary event, unstable angina, or

coronary revascularization procedure in the preceding 6 months

• Untreated severe obstructive sleep apnea
