CASE 1 – “ANTHONY”
• 53-year-old man
• Father died of prostate cancer
• Diagnosed with intermediate risk prostate cancer (PSA 9,
prostate biopsy Gleason 3+4=7 in 5/12 cores, cT2a)
• Chose to undergo surgery
• pT3a (focal EPE) N0 (0/6 lymph nodes positive)
• Gleason score 3+4 = 7 (GG 2/5)
• Focal apical margin positive (< 1 mm)
• 6 week post-RP PSA: < 0.1 ng/mL
