he CUA corporate office team is back at its Dorval denise.toner@cua.org
Theadquarters following a lengthy, Omicron-induced, work-
from-home mandate. Since the fall edition of the newsletter, the Tal Erdman
CUA welcomed a new team member — Ms. Nareh Nokhoudian CPD Programs, Events and Website
was brought on as a social media and event coordinator. tal.erdman@cua.org
Nareh’s primary goal is to increase our social media presence
on all CUA channels: Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Adriana Modica
Twitter. The dedicated core team remains excited to greet you CUAJ and Guidelines
all in PEI. adriana.modica@cua.org
This past winter, the CUA Board conducted a pay equity study
to ensure its employees were fairly compensated. Many of the Marfisa Defrancesco
Accounting and CUASF Grants
staff have almost 10 years of service and the study factored marfisa.defrancesco@cua.org
several variables, including years of service, into the benchmark
proposal. Pay equity is optional for small companies and,
therefore, the Board should be commended for their dedication Nareh Nokhoudian
to ensuring the mental and financial well-being of its staff. Social Media and Events

On the heels of the pay equity study, the HR firm will continue
to work with the CUA team on redefining and updating job
descriptions, developing evaluation forms tied to departmental
objectives, and updating employee resource manual. Thank you to the support of our
