ADT may increase the risk of cardiac

complications, especially in patients with

preexisting CV disease or a history of major

adverse cardiac events (MACE)

MACE is a cumulative term for adverse CV events and is defined as MI, coronary

revascularization, stroke, and hospitalization because of heart failure
